Grooming Essentials

When it comes to grooming your own pet having the right tools changes everything. Over the years we have tried several products to groom our 6 dogs and here is a list of our favorites.

We have personally tried several dog clippers. We tried the really expensive ones and everything in between. One day I decided to take a chance on these clippers and I'm so happy I did. the clippers work amazing, and cut through our poodle's hair like butter! PLUS you can buy replacement blades for it when they start to get dull!

Having a good pair of scissors is important. This is a great set that we really like. It comes with all the different scissors you'll want when grooming your dog.

These clippers have a narrow cutter head so it can fit into all those small and sensitive areas. Perfect for trimming areas around the eyes and paws.

We LOVE this shampoo, conditioner, and detangler set. Since we have poodles and doodles in our house we needed to find something that cleaned but also helped with matts. This shampoo is great and has a light scent. We aren't the only ones that love this shampoo for their doodles, just check out the reviews!

This shampoo brush is really easy to use and our dogs love it. It helps clean deep and scrub away dead skin and loose fur.

One of the BIGGEST and BEST things you can do for your dog is dry them after they get wet. Drying them helps A LOT when it comes to your dog getting matts. We Love this dryer and it works great with all of our dogs.

In between clipping your dog's nails, you can use this dremel. Or even after clipping your dog's nails, you can use this to smooth them out.

I have always had a love-hate relationship with slicker brushes... love because they're effective and comfortable, and HATE because they are the absolute biggest pain in the butt to clean, especially without damaging the thin bristles, or bending them in such a way that they poke the animal uncomfortably.

Enter this self-cleaning brush - Cleaning it is AMAZING - just press the button, pull the pad of hair off. It works great and is easy to clean = Win, Win

I like this brush because it has 2 sides to meet different needs. The first side is designed to remove loose fur while stimulating the skin, while the second side is designed to distribute the natural oils and make your dog's coat silky and shiny.

Here is our bonus product we recommend. Have you ever brought your dog home from the groomer and they smell GREAT but you don't ever get that when you wash your dog at home? That's because most groomers use a pet cologne... This one is great but be warned it's STRONG, only a couple of spritz is all you need. It also comes in several different scents.
